La Cicla Tours - Packing List 

Aside from your normal day-to-day clothing, plan to bring all of your cycling gear for 3-4 days of riding. You will have laundry service one time throughout your stay. 

Plan for a wide range of temperatures, with lows in the low 50’s and highs upwards of 80 degrees. Rain is always a possibility, but variety is the name of the game. The majority of our riding will likely fall in the 60-70 degree range.

Off the bike, be prepared for cooler nights with casual clothing that covers a wide range of temperatures for walking around town in the evenings and some sunny days at the pool! 

Important Documents: 

  • Passport

  • Any health or safety documentation needed

  • Flight info

  • Credit and Debit Cards

  • Cash (we recommend about $200 USD convered to Colombian Pesos) 

Cycling Clothing: 

  • Cycling kits (jersey/shorts) x 3-4

  • 1 pair of Arm warmers

  • 1 pair of leg warmers

  • 1 long sleeve mid weight jersey

  • Wind vest

  • Baselayer(s)

  • Rain jacket

  • Cycling shoes

  • Sunglasses

  • Helmet 

  • Socks

  • Gloves - lightweight and medium weight


Additional Cycling Items: 

  • Chamois cream

  • Cycling GPS computer 

  • Basic flat kit - 2 tubes, plug kit, hand pump and tire levers

  • Any personal riding nutrition you want (we will provide a variety of products for you too)

  • Any tools that might be specific or unique to your bike

  • 2 Water bottles 

  • Small Duffel Bag or Backpack (to put in the follow car each day)

Additional Non-Essential Bike Items to Consider Bringing: 

  • Extra derailleur hanger specific to your bike

  • A couple of spokes specific to your bike 

  • Spare tire

  • Handlebar bag 


Personal Items: 

  • Toothbrush/toothpaste

  • Travel size shampoo/conditioner/body wash

  • Deoderant 

  • Sunscreen

  • Contacts/contact solution

  • Feminine products

  • Wallet/cash/credit cards (check with your bank on travel alerts)

  • Any medication needed

  • Device chargers (no outlet adapter needed, same as US)


Casual Clothing Items: plan for cooler weather in the evenings (40’s-50’s) and warmer temps during the day (60’s - 70’s)

  • Light jacket

  • Sunglasses

  • Sweatshirt

  • T-Shirts

  • Socks

  • Comfortable walking shoes

  • Bathing suit

  • Party shirt!


A note on cycling nutrition: we will supply basic amounts of drink mix, gels, and some other cycling-specific items. We ask that you please bring a small amount of your favorite on-the-bike nutrition to make sure your personal needs are met.
